NEW YORK — Today, Saritha Komatireddy’s campaign for Attorney General announced that the Brooklyn Republican Party endorsed her candidacy.
Komatireddy said, “I was born in Brooklyn, and it’s where I built my career as a federal prosecutor. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have the Brooklyn GOP endorsement. Brooklyn shaped who I am, it taught me grit, it taught me resilience, and it taught me that the law must work for everyday people.”
She continued, “As a federal prosecutor, I spent my career holding criminals accountable, from violent offenders to sophisticated fraudsters who preyed on hardworking New Yorkers. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when our justice system loses focus. As Attorney General, I will restore accountability, protect victims, and make sure that those who break the law face real consequences.”
The Brooklyn GOP endorsement adds to Komatireddy’s growing coalition of support as her campaign continues to gain momentum across the state. A former federal prosecutor, Komatireddy has built her campaign around restoring law and order, standing with victims, and enforcing the law fairly and fearlessly, regardless of politics or power.
The Brooklyn GOP’s endorsement follows the endorsement of Rep. Mike Lawler (NY-17), Maggie’s List, Former U.S. Representative John Faso (NY-19), NHL Star Michael Peca, and his wife Kristin, as well as former New York Attorney General Dennis C. Vacco.
