NEW YORK – Today, Saritha Komatireddy’s campaign for Attorney General announced the endorsement of Maggie’s List, a federal political action committee (PAC) dedicated to electing strong conservative women.
“We are proud to endorse Saritha in her bid to serve as New York’s Attorney General. Saritha’s credentials are impeccable. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and a former clerk for the Honorable Brett Kavanaugh, Saritha was one of our nation’s top federal prosecutors. She also has the benefit of being a mother of four children. As a true professional with a record of excellence, Saritha has the skills and experience to transform the New York Attorney General’s Office into a force for good, that serves New Yorkers, makes New York safer, and restores law and order,” said Chele Farley, National Finance Chair and New York Co-Chair of Maggie’s List.
Following this endorsement, Komatireddy said, “I am honored to have the support of Maggie’s List as I work to flip the New York Attorney General’s office and ensure that our state’s chief law enforcement officer is focused on the safety of New Yorkers. As a federal prosecutor, I spent my career putting away the worst of the worst—terrorists, murderers, fraudsters, and hackers. Now, I want to get the Attorney General’s office back to basics—protecting New Yorkers and locking up criminals.”
“Under Letitia James, crime in New York is up 26% and drug deaths are up 63%. It doesn’t have to be this way. We need a prosecutor in charge to actually prosecute criminals, get the homeless and the mentally ill off the streets humanely, and root out corruption and fraud across New York. I know Maggie’s List supports these common sense policies—as do a majority of New Yorkers—and I am pleased to have their endorsement.”
