NEW YORK – On Thursday, Saritha Komatireddy, candidate for New York Attorney General, announced that her campaign has raised $556,794 since announcing her bid at the beginning of December. The campaign has $500,178 Cash On Hand.
In a statement announcing the massive fundraising haul, Saritha thanked the many New Yorkers who are looking for real change in the Attorney General’s office, and a prosecutor as Attorney General.
“I am honored by the widespread support I have received in the month since I announced my campaign for Attorney General. As I travel across the state, New Yorkers everywhere are compelled by my message of lowering crime, treating the sick and homeless with dignity as we remove them from the streets, and tackling the corruption and fraud in our state. The first fundraising numbers send a clear signal to folks across New York: voters are ready to elect a prosecutor to clean up our state.”
The big fundraising news comes on the heels of a major endorsement from former New York Attorney General Dennis C. Vacco.
